Primary Care WorkerAll Locations

Primary Care Worker In this key role, you will be responsible for providing the highest degree of quality care and services in a safe and organized manner to residents at Point of the Pine Gardens in Colorado Springs.We are a Medicaid facility serving residents ages range 18 years old and up. We are not an Alzheimer or severe dementia locked facility! We are a no-lift facility, as well. Shift times are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:

  • reporting any change in resident's health and providing proper documentation to the resident administrator along with detailed charting which are viewed weekly by Executive Director
  • assist those residents in need with activities of daily living (laundry and house-keeping), and personal care (hygiene)
  • listen to residents with empathy and assurance
  • maintain confidentiality of all residents (HIPAA)
  • maintain close communication with staff members and have productive dialogue at meetings and shift change
  • Integrity to stay in accordance with federal, state and local standards & regulations along with following established policies and procedures of PPG community.
  • a collaborative team-effort to provide residents a safe entry to dining-room and dining experience

REQUIREMENTS:

  • - High School diploma /GED accepted
  • - Must be at least 18 years of age
  • - Current TB & First Aid Certification preferred
  • - Must pass a Background Check
  • - Must be able to make choices, decisions and act in the resident's best interest showing compassion & care.
  • - Must have the ability to react and remain calm in difficult situations.
  • - Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication and level of understanding.
  • All staff required to lift 50lbs, perform tasks that require frequent bending,crouching, grasping, walking, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, squatting, climbing stairs and step ladders, twisting, and transferring.

Kitchen Staff/CookAll Locations

Point of the Pines Gardens Assisted Living Facility is currently hiring for positions in the Residential Dining Hall Kitchen. We are looking for a full-time employee who not only enjoys the career of cooking, but enjoys cooking for our particularly special residents. We have a large community between 95-110 and they deserve nothing but the best! The duties of this job would include, but are not limited to the following:

-Prepping meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)

-Assisting with Inventory

-Assisting with dish-washing duties

-Serving meals

-Cleaning the kitchen

Additional responsibilities and duties will be discussed at the point of hire.

Residents’ ages range 18 years old to 90+ years old. We are a no-lift, no transfer, no toileting facility. We are not an Alzheimer or severe dementia locked facility. Shift times are 645am-7pm and 645pm-7am. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. No recruiters or agencies, please.

  • supervising of self-administered medication to residents following regulatory guidelines
